Took this out with my nephew last weekend and the directional grooves really do keep it tracking straight instead of spinning sideways like cheaper sleds. The vinyl felt thick and sturdy even on a day that was well below freezing, and it handled both of us without any sign of strain.
The reinforced rubber base with those directional grooves really does keep you tracking straight — we took it down a bumpy hill and never spun out once. My wife and I fit on it comfortably, which says a lot since we're nowhere near the 250-pound limit.
Took this out with my nephew after a fresh snowfall and the K80 vinyl felt seriously tough—no punctures or tears even after hitting a few icy patches. The steering grooves kept us tracking straight down the hill, which made the whole ride feel way more controlled than my old cheap sled.
