The plastic is thicker and sturdier than the flimsy saucers I've used before, so it holds up well even when I accidentally hit a bump. My kids spent an entire afternoon flying down our hill without a single crack or tear.
Dragged this thing up the hill three times yesterday and my quads are feeling it, but the way it glides over packed snow is worth every step.
