Leisure Island vs. Giant Cabana Island: Which Multi-Person Float Is Right for Your Party?

When you're planning a pool party or a day at the lake, a single-person float just won't cut it. You need a floating island that can hold your friends, drinks, and maybe even a speaker. FUNBOY offers two standout multi-person options: the Leisure Island and the Giant Cabana Island. Both are designed for group fun, but they serve different purposes. Here's how they compare so you can pick the one that fits your party style.

Whether you want a spacious lounging deck or a shaded hangout spot, understanding the differences in size, capacity, and features will help you make the right choice. Let's dive in.

Size and Capacity: How Many People Can You Fit?

The Leisure Island is designed for smaller groups, typically accommodating 2-4 adults comfortably. It's a compact, floating island that's easy to maneuver and doesn't require a massive pool. The Giant Cabana Island, as the name suggests, is much larger, often holding 4-6 people or more. It's one of the largest pool floats for groups, making it ideal for bigger parties or families.

If you have a small pool or limited space, the Leisure Island is a better fit. For large gatherings or open water, the Giant Cabana Island gives everyone room to spread out. Keep in mind that the Giant Cabana Island requires more storage space and a larger air pump to inflate.

• Leisure Island: best for 2-4 people, compact, easy to store.
• Giant Cabana Island: holds 4-6+, requires more space and pump power.

Features: Shade, Stability, and Comfort

The Giant Cabana Island comes with a built-in canopy that provides shade, making it perfect for sunny days when you want to escape the heat. It also has cup holders and mesh storage pockets for your belongings. The Leisure Island is more of an open deck design, great for sunbathing but without shade options. Both floats are made from durable vinyl, but the Giant Cabana Island's larger size can make it a bit more prone to drifting in wind.

Stability is a key difference. The Leisure Island has a lower profile, making it more stable in calm water. The Giant Cabana Island, with its canopy and taller sides, can catch wind more easily. If you're using it in a pool, this isn't a big issue, but on a lake or river, you'll need to anchor it properly.

• Giant Cabana Island: built-in canopy, cup holders, storage pockets.
• Leisure Island: open deck, best for sunbathing, more stable in calm water.

Party Style: Which Float Matches Your Vibe?

If your party is all about lounging, chatting, and enjoying the sun, the Leisure Island is a great choice. It's also easier to bring along to a beach or lake because it deflates smaller. For a full-blown pool party with music, drinks, and maybe a floating speaker, the Giant Cabana Island offers the space and amenities to keep everyone happy. Its shade canopy also makes it a hit during midday heat.

Consider your typical group size and how long you plan to float. The Giant Cabana Island is a statement piece that becomes the center of attention, while the Leisure Island is more versatile for everyday use. Both are available in fun designs from FUNBOY, so you can match your style.

• Leisure Island: great for small groups, easy transport, everyday lounging.
• Giant Cabana Island: party centerpiece, shade, best for all-day hangs.

Choosing between the Leisure Island and the Giant Cabana Island comes down to your party size and need for shade. For intimate gatherings and easy portability, go with the Leisure Island. For large groups and a shaded hangout, the Giant Cabana Island is worth the extra space. Either way, you're getting a high-quality multi-person pool float from FUNBOY that will make your summer unforgettable.
