Pool parties are all about fun, relaxation, and making memories with friends and family. But the right inflatable can take your gathering from ordinary to unforgettable. Whether you're hosting a backyard bash, a poolside barbecue, or a dayclub-style event, choosing the best pool floats for pool parties is key to keeping everyone entertained and comfortable.

From giant group floats that fit multiple people to clever drink holders that keep your beverage within arm's reach, the options are endless. In this guide, we'll explore the top pool party inflatables, including group pool floats, floats with drink holders, and other must-have accessories. Plus, we'll share tips on how to create the ultimate party setup with FUNBOY's latest designs.

Why the Right Pool Float Makes or Breaks Your Pool Party

A pool party isn't just about splashing around—it's about creating a vibe. The best pool float for party settings should be durable, comfortable, and easy to use. You want floats that can handle multiple people without tipping, that resist punctures, and that look great in photos. Inflatables that double as seating or lounging areas are ideal because they encourage socializing and relaxation.

Another important factor is versatility. Some floats are designed for solo lounging, while others are built for group fun. For a well-rounded party, you'll want a mix of both. And don't forget about convenience: floats with built-in cup holders or mesh pockets make it easy to keep drinks, phones, and snacks close by without worrying about them falling into the water.

• Look for heavy-duty vinyl or fabric-covered materials for durability.
• Choose floats with multiple air chambers for added safety.
• Consider UV-resistant colors to prevent fading under the sun.

Group Pool Floats: The Life of the Party

When it comes to group pool floats, bigger is often better. These inflatables are designed to accommodate two, three, or even more people at once, making them perfect for socializing. The Mesh Lounger Float is a fantastic option for couples or small groups who want to lounge together while staying cool in the water. Its mesh construction allows water to flow through, keeping you comfortable on hot summer days.

For larger gatherings, consider a giant cabana-style island or a float that doubles as a seating area. These group floats often come with built-in backrests and cup holders, so everyone can relax and chat without having to tread water. They also serve as a central gathering point—perfect for playing games, sharing snacks, or just soaking up the sun.

• Group floats with multiple cup holders are great for keeping drinks organized.
• Look for floats with reinforced handles for easy towing and stability.

Floats with Drink Holders: Keep Your Beverage Handy

No pool party is complete without refreshing drinks, and a float with a drink holder is a game-changer. These floats feature built-in cup holders that keep your beverage securely in place, even if you doze off or make a sudden move. The Vintage Tube Float is a classic choice that combines retro style with modern convenience, featuring two cup holders so you and a friend can enjoy your drinks together.

Another excellent option is the Fabric Noodle Float, which offers a soft, fabric-covered surface and integrated drink holders. Its noodle-like design provides excellent buoyancy and comfort, while the cup holders keep your drink within easy reach. For a more luxurious experience, the Cocoa Clear Chaise Lounger includes a built-in drink holder and a comfortable headrest, making it ideal for long afternoons by the pool.

• Choose floats with deep, wide cup holders to accommodate different glass sizes.
• Some floats have removable cup holders for easy cleaning.

Beyond Floats: Accessories That Elevate Your Pool Party

While floats are the stars of the show, the right accessories can take your pool party to the next level. An Inflatable Air Pump is essential for quick and easy setup—no one wants to spend precious party time manually inflating floats. FUNBOY offers reliable pumps that work with all their inflatables, ensuring you're ready to party in minutes.

For evening parties, an Inflatable Movie Screen transforms your pool area into an outdoor cinema. Pair it with a projector and some cozy floats for a memorable movie night under the stars. And don't forget about beach towels: the Cabana Beach Towel is oversized, absorbent, and stylish, perfect for lounging poolside or drying off after a swim.

• An inflatable pump with multiple nozzle attachments works with various float valves.
• Outdoor movie screens can be set up in minutes and are weather-resistant.

How to Choose the Best Pool Float for Your Party

With so many options, selecting the best pool float for party can feel overwhelming. Start by considering the size of your guest list. For intimate gatherings, a few high-quality loungers like the Tanning Pool Lounger or the Cocoa Clear Chaise Lounger will suffice. For larger parties, invest in group floats and multiple single floats to accommodate everyone.

Next, think about the vibe you want to create. Are you going for a tropical resort feel? Opt for bright, colorful floats with tropical prints. Hosting a themed party? FUNBOY offers collaborations with brands like Malibu Barbie and Hot Wheels, adding a playful touch. Finally, consider storage and maintenance: fabric-covered floats are easier to clean and more durable, while vinyl floats are lightweight and budget-friendly.

• Measure your pool's dimensions to ensure floats fit comfortably.
• Check the weight capacity of each float, especially for group use.
